DATES
The scientific sessions of the Congress will be held on 13-14-15-16 February 2020. It is recommended that congress accommodation should be arranged for 4 nights for the dates of 12– 16 February 2020, taking into consideration the congress scientific schedule and the start time of the pre-congress course meetings.

LANGUAGE
The language of the Congress is Turkish and Russian. Turkish-Russian simultaneous translation will be provided in sessions.

INVITATION LETTERS
Invitation letters to be given to the institutions for the participation of the Congress will be sent to the participants who are requested through the Organization Secretariat. Such invitation letters can only be used with the purpose of permission. The registration and accommodation fees of such guests with an invitation letter belong to them.

IMPORTANT DATES

Abstract submission deadline: 6 December 2019
Announcement for abstract submission evaluation: 27 December 2019

BADGES
It is requested that all participants wear the badges permanently so that the Congress order can be provided.

CERTIFICATES
Certificates of attendance for all participants will begin to be delivered on February 15th, 2020. Please leave your address to the registration desk to deliver your certificates after the congress, if you have to leave the congress before it ends.

CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations must be made to the Secretariat by written notice. For cancellations prior to Friday, November 29th, 2019, full refund will be given. For cancellations between November 30th 2019 and January 17th 2020, a refund will be given after deduction of 50% processing fee. After this date no refund will be made, however a substitute delegate may be nominated.

CLIMATE AND CLOTHING
The mid of February is a cold but sunny period in Antalya. Daytime temperatures are in the range of 10-13 ºC and evening temperatures are 2 – 5ºC. We recommend you bring the clothes regarding the weather conditions. While the weather is generally cold in this period, rain and snow may be occurred.

ELECTRICITY
The electrical power supply in Turkiye is 220 volts.

TIME
Turkiye is 3 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT +3).

CURRENCY
Local currency in Turkiye is Turkish Liras (Turk Lirasi – TL). All payments for the Congress including registration, hotel accommodation and tours should be made in Turkish Lira. The exchange rate for Turkish Lira can be learned from the web site of Turkish Central Bank (www.tcmb.gov.tr).

BANKING AND EXCHANGE FACILITIES
The Foreign money can be changed at banks during business days (09.00-17.00 Monday-Friday) as well as at hotels, at the airport and in exchange offices. Exchange rates are set daily by the Central Bank. All major credit cards are accepted in most hotels, restaurants and shops. Automated bank machines are available at many points throughout the city and at the airport.

VISA REQUIREMENTS
Participants are requested to check with the Turkish consulate in their home country or with their travel agency or at for visa requirements. Entry visa to Turkey can also be obtained at İstanbul Ataturk Airport for some countries. (For detailed information: http://www.mfa.gov.tr)

HEALTH
Turkiye has a high standard of healtcare and hospitals are well equipped. In the event of illness, you can get help from the hotel managements or congress organizer.

PHARMACIES
Open from 9 am to 7 pm, Monday to Saturday. There are also 24 hour on duty pharmacies which operate according to an official chart.

LIABILITY
The Committee and/or Organizers shall not be held liable for personal accidents or losses or damage to private property of registered delegates of the congress. Delegates should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance.

INSURANCE
It is strongly recommended that delegates take out adequate travel and health insurance prior to commencement of travel. Further information can be obtained from your travel agent.

RESTAURANTS AND TURKISH CUISINE
There is a wide choice of restaurants in Ankara and at the hotel within the All Inclusive concept offering everything from excellent national cuisine to first class international dishes. Traditional Turkish cuisine is famous for its many specialties prepared with fresh vegetables. There are lots of quality restaurants and fast-food shops in the vicinity of the hotels reserved for this meeting.

TIPPING
Tipping is well accepted in Turkiye as in other parts of the world and is at your discretion. It is customary to tip hotel porters, and a gratuity of about 5-10% is usual in restaurants. However you do not need to tip if service charge is added to bill as it is the case at some hotels and restaurants.

SHOPPING
One of the most enjoyable parts of a trip to Turkey is shopping for the rich variety of Turkish crafts. Turkey is a shopping paradise with its bazaars and the modern malls. Turkish carpets, kilims, suede and leatherwear as well as cotton shirts and clothing are the best buys here. Copper, silver, brassware and jewelers are also choices for buying, along with works of ceramics and the famous Turkish meerschaum. Bargaining over the sale price with shop traders is expected.

TAXIS
Taxis are painted mostly yellow with a roof-light to identify them. In towns they use taximeters.

TELEPHONES
Pay phones are available at the meeting venue as well as in the city.
